An advanced five-day retriever holiday with Collette May, founder of Completely Gundogs and experienced retriever trainer working from our 15-acre Mid Wales grounds.

This is for dogs and handlers targeting high-level performance — whether that's working tests, field trials, or professional picking-up. Your dog should already demonstrate reliable steadiness, confident handling at distance, and solid delivery under pressure. This holiday sharpens precision and builds real-world application.

Five days allows for deep, progressive work across complex scenarios including multiple retrieves, memory work, and diverse terrain — cover, water, and woodland. Starter pistols, bang boxes, and dummy launchers are used throughout. Shot confidence is essential.

There's a rest day built into the five-day programme to allow recovery and consolidation. Onsite accommodation is available to book separately.
